GFS charts (weather charts)
The raw data for the weather charts is copyrighted by and courtesy of US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration / National Centers for Environmental Prediction.
The charts themselves (i.e. the graphics files) are copyrighted by saakeskus.fi.
The weather charts marked as (C) www.saakeskus.fi may be used freely for scientific, educational and / or research purposes as long as they are not altered in any way, especially regarding the copyright notice. However, what we don't like is the plain inclusion of a number of our charts in another weather site. If you want to use our charts, please do not hotlink them. This costs a lot of traffic and the charts are continuously updated, so e.g. for discussions in forums, it will be better to store a copy somewhere.
Anyway, it would be nice if you dropped us a note by email.
Any commercial usage requires prior permission.

Usage in a forum for weather discussion: OK
Usage on private website: OK (also private websites with reasonable advertising like Google Ads)
